In search of some peace and quiet, Tom rents a small and secluded lake house. The house is marked by a legend about a woman who drowned and then haunted the woods and killed anyone she came across. Especially Al, Tom's new neighbor, wants to know more about that myth because he's just lost his husband. The relationship between Tom and Al isn't very good at first, but it gets worse as Tom gets to know a mysterious woman named Nina, who Al can't shake his suspicions about.
