A man must make his way down these squalid alleys. A hero who was born, murdered, and then reborn. Denny Colt, a rookie cop from Central City, returns from the afterlife as The Spirit, a hero whose duty it is to battle evil forces lurking in the shadows of the city's underbelly. The Octopus, who kills anyone who has the misfortune of coming into contact with him, has other ambitions; he intends to take out the entire city.
