Ex-marine John Shale is seeing his high school sweetheart Jane after completing a job for the CIA. She is currently a teacher at Miami's Columbus High School. Jane's knee cap gets fractured while jogging shortly after his arrival. John then decides to pose as her substitute teacher in high school. Soon after, he learns that a gang called Kings of Destruction is terrorizing the school.
