Beverly Hills was evacuated due to a chemical accident. A retiring football player finds that the hazardous gas release is a ruse for a heist planned up by discharged police officers to pillage the city of its treasures. Finding himself siding with a corrupt cop who was formerly part of the scheme until he found the city's mayor had just been blasted apart. Now on the run with no aid, they must stop these bloodthirsty looters.
