The Tangle

In the not too distant future, the entire planet will be linked together by The Tangle, an artificial intelligence that makes use of aerial nanotechnology. It is a guardian of good will, restoring law and order to the community. A government agency monitors the technology that makes up The Tangle from within safe rooms, which are areas that are impenetrable by the nanobots that make up The Tangle. This helps ensure that the technology does not go rogue. When the body of field agent Margot Foster was discovered inside of one of these rooms, the agency was forced to begin an investigation into the first homicide in many years.
