The Unbearable Lightness of Being
Tomas, a successful surgeon, travels to another city for a procedure, where he meets a young photographer named Tereza, and he brings her back to Prague with him. Tereza is taken aback when she discovers that Tomas is already carrying on an affair with Sabina, a Bohemian woman; however, the three of them manage to escape to Switzerland before the Soviet invasion. Tereza, appalled by Tom's continued womanizing, decides to leave the country and go back to Czechoslovakia. Sabina starts having an affair. After realizing his error, Tomas makes the decision to pursue her further.
