Mother of three Hanni, a farmer's wife and mother of three daughters, is concerned about her youngest daughter, Magdalena, who is smaller and more sensitive than her siblings. She becomes ill with stomach flu and loses her ability to see clearly again. The doctors only provide band-aid solutions and don't seem to take her situation seriously. While Hanni looks for a doctor who would take Magdalena's complaints seriously, her husband and sons are left feeling unappreciated and abandoned. Hanni will eventually have to face the authorities and confront her childhood memories of bleak courtrooms and gloomy corridors. A courtroom thriller based on a true tale, as well as a family drama with a lot of energy and intensity.
