Ned Giles, an aspiring news photographer, joins the Great Apache Expedition in 1932 to look for a young boy who was kidnapped by wild Apaches. The boy is the son of a wealthy Mexican land owner. Suddenly, a wild Apache girl must be traded for the kidnapped boy. Ned is forced to go on a dangerous and risky journey through rough terrain to do this.
