One spring, Mole decides that spring cleaning can wait a little longer, and he and his new friend Rat go on a series of adventures. They go on a caravan trip with Toad and have a picnic by the river. But when Toad gets a new car, he starts driving recklessly, so Mole and Rat go to Badger for help with Toad's wasteful ways. But Toad gets away from them, and the judge gives him a 20-year sentence for stealing, driving recklessly, and being a jerk. While Toad charms the jailer's daughter and gets out of jail dressed as a washer woman, Badger tries to protect Toad Hall from the Weasels but gets badly beaten. To get back Toad Hall, you need a plan and your four friends.
