Susan, a single mother, is concerned about leaving her daughter Christy at home while she travels out of town-until neighbor Teri offers to "babysit" Christy and spend the night, looking after her and keeping an eye on her. Susan, on the other hand, hurries home when Christy goes missing under circumstances eerily similar to the death of her husband, a police investigator. To save the only remaining members of her family, Susan will have to confront the pain of her husband's death from her past.
