The 50th film in the Tora-san series, which uses old footage and new scenes to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the series. The adult Mitsuo, Tora-nephew, san's runs into Izumi, his first love, whom he had promised to marry. The familiar faces of the Kurumaya Cafe, which Tora-family san's ran in Shibamata, also return. When people see old friends, they always talk about their favorite memories of Tora-san.
