When Grace (aka "Twinkle Toes"), 14, graduates from high school, she has been planning the greatest summer vacation with her best friends, Sporty Shorty and Jordan, since the beginning of the school year. Nevertheless, when Twinkle Toes' father is offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to direct a Broadway musical, she is pulled from her small-pond suburbia life and thrust into the hustle and bustle of New York City for the summer. The show's choreographer is impressed by Twinkle Toes' knowledge of the Big Apple and Broadway, and she is invited to be a part of the cast, where she will be cast alongside young actress Olivia Conners. However, when Twinkle Toes gets a taste of the Broadway spotlight, the possibility of stardom overwhelms Twinkle Toes, and the show is completely wrecked!
