Two Evil Eyes
Two horror segments set in and around Pittsburgh based on Edgar Allan Poe stories. "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" is about a cheating wife who tries to con her dying husband out of millions of dollars by having her doctor/hypnotist lover hypnotize him into signing over his money to her. The old man dies while under hypnosis, leaving him in a state of limbo between the here and the hereafter. The physical world's door is opened, and the undead attempt to enter. "Black Cat" tells the story of Rodd Usher, an alcoholic photographer/artist who goes insane after killing a stray cat brought home by his live-in girlfriend Annabelle. As one murder leads to another, the intricate cover-ups begin.
