Virginia Minnesota, the first feature film directed by Daniel Stine, is the story of a broken friendship that eventually finds new ground. The story starts with a young woman who is at a crossroads. Lyle, played by Rachel Hendrix, is at a crossroads in her life, so she decides to take an impromptu road trip, during which she reconnects with an old friend named Addison (Aurora Perrinau). Addison is also wandering aimlessly, and as a result, the two of them end themselves traveling together. Addison and Lyle had a difficult childhood experience in common, and in order to move on with their lives as adults, they need to confront that experience. The trip enlightens them not only on the impact of their former friendship on their lives at the present time, but also about the way their new friendship will mold their lives as young adults in the years to come.
