Aliens arrive in the mythical town of "Speelburgh, USA" in search of the origins of rock and roll. They discover a gang of teenagers led by Dee Dee (the inimitable Pia Zadora) and Frankie, as well as Frankie's posse/rock band, the Pack. When the aliens' leader falls for Dee Dee, all sorts of trouble ensues.
