In the not too distant future, two competing television networks produce bloody game shows as an attempt to increase their viewership. One television network creates a contemporary iteration of the ancient Roman gladiators, except this time they compete on motorbikes rather than chariots, and the participants in the show are convicted murderers. The network comes to the conclusion that it needs a champion for this sport, so they frame a player who has consistently won in another game for murder and put him on the show.
