When We Were Kings
The year is 1974. Muhammad Ali is 32 years old and considered to be past his prime by many. George Foreman is ten years younger than you are, and he is the heavyweight champion of the entire world. In order to establish himself, promoter Don King offers both combatants five million dollars to fight each other, and after they accept, all King needs to do is come up with the rest of the money. He finds a ready supporter in Mobutu Sese Suko, the dictator of Zaire, and the stage is set for the "Rumble in the Jungle," which will include a musical festival starring some of America's greatest black musicians, such as James Brown and B.B. King, as well as other events.
