Where the Scary Things Are
Ayla and her high-school pals encounter a grotesque, semi-human mutant, which sets the tone for the rest of the story. They keep it imprisoned while filming revolting viral videos, but the gang's desire for "likes" drives them to record the beast committing heinous crimes. When one of the boys notices Ayla using the monster's terrible violence to settle her personal grudges, he threatens to inform the authorities, but is it too late for him to save his friends?
