As a result of being snatched from death and transformed into a vampire, Juliet Capulet (of Shakespearean fame) is compelled to spend all of eternity apart from her beloved Romeo. A century and a half after the events of Romeo and Juliet, Juliet meets another young woman who steals her heart yet again. She teaches Juliet that love, loss, and the pursuit of happiness are all part of life, and that a life without love is no life at all.
