Tina Fey created 30 Rock, an American television comedy series that aired on NBC from October 11, 2006 through January 31, 2013. The show, partially based on Fey's experiences as the chief writer for Saturday Night Live, takes place behind the scenes of a fictional live sketch comedy series that airs on NBC. The series' title refers to 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, which is the address of the GE Building, which houses the NBC Studios.
