Aída
Ada is a Spanish comedy sitcom set in Madrid that is a spin-off from 7 Vidas. Globomedia produces the show for the Spanish network Telecinco, and it debuted on January 16, 2005. It is presently in its ninth season. Carmen Machi plays the lead role, Ada Garca, a working single mother with two teenage children who is forced to live with her mother and brother in order to make ends meet. The show has gotten positive feedback from viewers and has been the most watched show in Spain since 2007. It has also won numerous honors, including the Ondas Award for Best Spanish Sitcom. The Polish re-make of the programme premiered on TVP2 in March 2012.
