Animal Practice
At the Crane Animal Hospital, a busy veterinary practice in New York City, where it frequently seems as if the patients are running the place, the comedic focus of the show is on Dr. George Coleman, an accomplished veterinarian who treats an impressive roster of well-known animals as patients. In spite of his unconventional approach, George possesses an unmistakable skill with animals of all types, with the exception of human beings, of course. Recently, George found out, much to his dismay, that his ex-girlfriend, Dorothy Crane, has acquired the family firm and is now his employer. This news has caused George a great deal of frustration. Smart as a whip and driven by ambition, Dorothy shakes things up at the hospital as she brings order to the mayhem and clashes with the animal-friendly administration that George has in place.
