Appare-Ranman!
During the back-end of the 19th century, the wizard yet socially awkward engineer Sorano Appare and also the sensible yet afraid samurai Isshiki Kosame find themselves wandering in the sea between Japan and America. Without any cash, the duo determine to go into the Trans-America Wild Race to win the cash prize so they can get home. Both encounter competitors, outlaws, and obstacles in the wilderness as they race via America, from the beginning line in Los Angeles to the finish line in New york city, in the steam-powered auto they built.
