As of March2013, 20 novels have been published under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko banner. Brain's Base and Aniplex turned the novels into a 16-episode anime series directed by Takahiro Omori. The first 13 episodes broadcast on WOWOW from July26, 2007 to November1,2007; the latter three were released on DVD. This series was turned into a two-volume manga, a Nintendo DS adventure game, and two drama CDs. The first drama CD included a novel, and the animation DVDs included two gaiden novels.
