Beauty and the Geek
The CW broadcasts the American version of Beauty and the Geek, a reality television series with a worldwide franchise. Ashton Kutcher, Jason Goldberg, and Nick Santora are producing "The Ultimate Social Experiment." The show's idea is that a group of "Beauties" and a group of "Geeks" are paired up to compete as partners for a $250,000 prize pool and other rewards. During the competition, each beauty is confined to a room with her geek. Each episode features two challenges: one that puts the beauties to the test on a mostly academic subject, and the other that pits the geeks against one another in a more popular/social arena. The challenge winners choose two teams to participate in a pure "quiz show"-style question and answer session, with the team with the fewest right answers being eliminated.
