AJ is an 8-year-old techie who drives the top racer in Axle City, the monster truck Blaze. The two engage in scientific and mathematical challenges during their adventures. Blaze's opponent Crusher, a tractor-trailer who will do anything to beat other vehicles to the finish line, causes many of the obstacles they confront. The animated series is marketed as the first preschool television program to thoroughly cover science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Each episode presents several STEM principles, such as buoyancy and trajectory.
