Bordertown
The comedy, set in a made-up desert hamlet near the U.S.-Mexico border, revolves around the intertwined everyday lives of neighbors Bud Buckwald and Ernesto Gonzales. Bud, a Border Patrol agent and married father of three, feels intimidated by the cultural changes that have affected his neighborhood. Ernesto, a diligent Mexican immigrant and father of four who is proud of his success in the United States, lives next door. As Bud and Ernesto's paths begin to intersect, their respective families develop ties of friendship, romance, and conflict.
