The American sitcom Brothers and Sisters debuted on NBC in January of 1979 and ran until April of that same year. The series made an effort to cash in on the popularity of the film adaptation of National Lampoon's Animal House, which was released in 1978. It was the second of three comedy programs set in fraternity houses that began airing at the beginning of 1979.
