Coach Trip is a reality game show that was initially aired on Channel 4 from March 7, 2005, all the way through June 30, 2006. After a hiatus of three years, the program was broadcast once again on Channel 4 beginning on May 25, 2009 and continuing until March 9, 2012. Once more, the show went on hiatus at the beginning of 2013, and it was immediately succeeded by a brand-new show named Brendan's Magical Mystery Tour. Nevertheless, in September of2013, Channel 4 made the announcement that they had decided to continue the Coach Trip series. The format of the show involves anywhere from four to seven teams of two individuals traveling across continental Europe via coach. The tours have typically lasted between 30 and 50 days, during which time travellers continue on the tour only until they are kicked off by their traveling partners on a given day. The passengers are then replaced by a new couple on the day after that. Brendan Sheerin, the tour guide, makes an appearance in each and every episode, and he travels alongside the travelers.
