Coast Australia follows well-known Scottish archaeologist and historian Neil Oliver on his first trip to Australia. He and a diverse group of co-hosts learn about the history, people, archaeology, geography, and marine life of Australia's spectacular coastline, as well as interesting and little-known facts along the way. Oliver's co-hosts, all of whom are experts in their fields, are journalist and Australian arts and culture expert Miriam Corowa, environmentalist Professor Tim Flannery, marine scientist Dr. Emma Johnston, anthropologist Dr. Xanthe Mallett, and TV host and landscape architect Brendan Moar.
