Cold Squad is a police procedural television series that was produced in Canada and first aired in 1998. The series followed the investigations of a part of the Vancouver Police Department Homicide Division that was tasked with solving cold cases and was given the title Cold Squad. Sergeant Ali McCormick was in charge of the Cold Squad. McCormick was the only character to appear in all seven seasons of Cold Squad, which featured a cast that was eclectic and constantly rotating. Notable series regulars include Detective Tony Logozzo in seasons 1 and 2, Sgt. Frank Coscarella in seasons 3 and 4, Sgt. Len Harper in seasons 5 through 7, Insp. Vince Schneider in season 1, Insp. Simon Ross in season 2, Insp. Andrew Pawlachuk in seasons 3 through 7, Det. Mickey Kollander in seasons 3 through 6, Det. Nicco Sevallis in seasons 3 through 6, Christine Wren in seasons 4 through 7, and Detective Samantha Walters and Cons A significant portion of the on-screen cast, with the exception of Julie Stewart, was changed from the second to the third season. This, in addition to the new sets, a substantial revamping of the credits and theme music, and even having McCormick's hair change from auburn to dirty-blonde were all contributors to the significant reworking of the series.
