Suspect Behavior was a short-lived CBS police procedural drama that aired in the United States. The show launched in 2011 as a spin-off of the popular Criminal Minds, which first aired in 2005. The profiling team for this edition also worked for the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Quantico, Virginia. During the fifth season of Criminal Minds, the previous team met the new team and collaborated to find a San Francisco serial killer in an April 2010 episode. This episode functioned as a backdoor pilot for the new series. CBS controlled the underlying North American rights, just like the parent series, but ABC owned the foreign rights. The show debuted on February 16, 2011, and took over the Wednesday 10 p.m. time slot from the original Criminal Minds. The series was canceled by CBS on May 17, 2011. A cliffhanger concludes the series. On September 6, 2011, CBS DVD published a four-disc package of the entire series. It's labeled "The DVD Edition." Numerous bonus elements are included, including two episode commentaries with the actors and crew. The backdoor pilot from season five of the original program is included in the set.
