Defying Gravity
Defying Gravity is a science fiction drama about space travel that was made in different countries. It premiered on ABC and CTV on August 2, 2009, and ended in the fall of 2009. In the series, which is set in the year 2052, eight astronauts from four different countries go on a six-year mission through the Solar System. During this time, Earth keeps track of them through a real-time communication system. Networks were told that the show would be like "Grey's Anatomy in space." Before the show was cancelled, 13 episodes were made, but only eight were shown on ABC. The rest of the episodes were shown in other countries or online.
