Digimon Fusion, also known as Digimon Xros Wars in Japan and Digimon Fusion Battles in Malaysia, is Akiyoshi Hong's sixth anime children's television series produced by Toei Animation. It follows Taiki Kud, a young kid who uses the power of gathering together Digimon to save the Digital World. Between July6, 2010 and March25,2012, the series was broadcast on TV Asahi and Asahi Broadcasting Corporation in three seasons, titled Xros Wars, The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms, and The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time, respectively. Saban Brands has licensed the series outside of Asia, while MarVista Entertainment is handling international distribution. Saban's English-language version debuted on Nickelodeon in North America on September7, 2013 and will subsequently air on The CW's Vortexx programming block. From December 8, 2012, an alternate English-language version aired on Disney XD in Malaysia.
