DNA²
Masakazu Katsura is the creator of the science fiction manga series DNA2. Between 1993 and1994, it was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shnen Jump magazine, spanning five tankbon volumes. From October7, 1994 to December23,1994, Nippon Television broadcasted a 12-episode anime television series based on DNA2. In 1995, a three-episode original anime video animation was released. Jun'ichi Sakata directed the anime series, which was produced by Madhouse and Studio Deen. Kumiko Takahashi was the character designer and animation director for the series. Animax broadcasted DNA2 in Japan, and the series was also shown on its many networks around the world, including its English-language networks in Southeast Asia and South Asia. Central Park Media licensed all 15 episodes in North America until their closure in 2009. The five books and box set are no longer available.
