It primarily focuses on the conflicting personalities of Ren and Louis, the two youngest siblings of the suburban Sacramento, California, Stevens family. Brookwell McNamara Entertainment produced the series. It is frequently credited as launching Shia LaBeouf's acting career. In every episode, the show incorporates fast-motion photography. The Even Stevens Movie, a feature-length Disney Channel Original Movie based on the series, debuted on June 13, 2003 and serves as the series' conclusion. However, The Even Stevens Movie is still occasionally broadcast on Disney Channel and Family Channel. From 2009 until 2012, Even Stevens was broadcast on CITV in the United Kingdom, having previously aired on CBBC. Disney XD aired reruns of the series from its 2009 premiere through early 2010.
