Kang Soo is a loan shark who struggles to make ends meet in his dreary environment. His father's cruelty drove his mother to flee the family home. Because of his father's severe debt, he began working for Hwang Tae Bok. He wasn't allowed to be happy. His main wish is to find his mother and live a happy life. However, in his life, this is impossible. He can't escape the nightmare of his existence no matter how hard he tries, and just as he was about to give up on his life, he sees a leaflet asking, "Do you want to become happy?" With a glimmer of optimism, he travels to the research center in the hopes of experiencing some happiness. Happiness, however, comes at a high price of $300,000 dollars. He decides to rob Tae Bok of his money. Will he be able to find happiness?
