His name was Kotomine Kirei. Kirei, unable to fathom the guiding of fate, was confused and continued to inquire. Why someone with his background was granted Command Seals. However, the course of Kirei's battles brought him into contact with an adversary. That individual is Emiya Kiritsugu. A guy who was harsher and more ruthless than everyone else, and who desired the Holy Grail's miracle.
