Fire Force
In the year 198 of the Solar Era, special fire brigades in Tokyo are battling a phenomena known as spontaneous human combustion, in which people are transformed into "Infernals," or living infernos. Later generations have the ability to manipulate flames while maintaining their human form, whereas the Infernals are the first generation of spontaneously combusting humans. Shinra Kusakabe, a young man who earned the moniker Devil's Footprints for his ability to fire his feet at will, joins the Special Fire Force Company8, which is comprised of other flame users and tasked with extinguishing any Infernals they find. As a faction that is creating Infernals emerges, Shira attempts to learn the truth about the mysterious fire that killed his family twelve years ago.
