Garfunkel and Oates

The musical comedy Garfunkel and Oates stars Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci as both themselves and their musical comedy alter-egos, "Garfunkel and Oates." The show follows the two as they attempt to expand the bounds of their limited notoriety. Micucci and Lindhome, both well-known figures in the world of improv comedy, first crossed paths at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. They decided to name their band after "two renowned rock-and-roll second bananas," namely Art Garfunkel and John Oates. Riki and Kate blast taboos and play tongue-in-cheek songs about their miserable existence as single Los Angelenos in their late 20s and execute these skits over the course of five bite-sized episodes.
