Izumi Todo's Pretty Cure franchise has reached its tenth and final installment with the Glitter Force anime series from Japan. The series is written by Shoji Yonemura, who is most known for his work as the chief writer on Glass Fleet and Kamen Rider Kabuto. Toei Animation is responsible for producing the show. Toshie Kawamura, who had worked on the character designs for Yes! PreCure 5 in the past, was the one who designed the characters for this game. Between February5, 2012 and January27,2013, the series was broadcast on TV Asahi's ANN network. It took the place of Suite PreCure in the timeslot that it initially occupied, and it has been succeeded by Dokidoki! PreCure. On October 27, 2012, a movie was made available to watch in theaters around Japan. The use of fairy tales throughout the series is the primary motif.
