Halfworlds
People and bloodthirsty creatures from Indonesian mythology have lived together for generations in the busy streets and alleys of Jakarta. Since these "Demit" look like humans, a powerful family of mortals has kept their true identities secret for hundreds of years. This hidden world will come to light when a mysterious supernatural event called "the Gift" happens. As the day of the Gift gets closer, a young street performer named Sarah finds herself in the middle of a storm. Once the Demit find out who Sarah really is and what she has to do, humans and Demit are on a collision course that could change the balance of their two worlds for good.
