I (Almost) Got Away With It is an Investigation Discovery documentary television series. The show premiered on January 12, 2010. The series tells genuine stories of people who committed crimes, then tried to avoid arrest but were apprehended. The fugitives commit crimes ranging from robbing gas stations to hijacking Crystal Gayle's tour bus while on the run. The first and second seasons are also available on Netflix. Many of the outdoor sequences in this series are shot on Treasure Island in San Francisco, which is located in the center of San Francisco Bay.
