Inspector Montalbano
Italian television series based on Andrea Camilleri's detective novels, Inspector Montalbano, has been on the air since 1999 thanks to RAI. Commissario Salvo Montalbano is the protagonist, and the stories take place in Vigata, Sicily. Precursor Il giovane Montalbano was released in 2012 as a prequel to the series.
