Kindred: The Embraced

Kindred: The Embraced is an American TV series. Based on Vampire: The Masquerade, the Fox series ran for eight episodes before being canceled on May 9, 1996. Detective Frank Kohanek encounters vampires in San Francisco while investigating mobster Julian Luna. Julian rules five vampire clans in the city, called "The Kindred." Julian enforces the laws governing the vampires' "masquerade" to maintain their identities. Julian and Frank create an uneasy alliance as they try to prevent a vampire war while Julian fights with his affections for Caitlin Byrne. VHS and DVDs contain all eight episodes.
