Peter Kay's "Phoenix Nights" was a critically regarded comedy series, and its sequel, "Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere," is a much-loved and critically-respected comedy series in its own right. This six-part comedy/drama series follows the story of naïve Phoenix Club bouncers Max (Kay) and Paddy (McGuinness), as they escape clubland in their cherished motor-home and take to the open highway. The series was written by Peter Kay and Patrick McGuinness, who also feature in the series as themselves.
