Paradise Beach

The Australian television series Paradise Beach is produced by Village Roadshow Pictures. It was broadcast by New World Television on the Nine Network between 1993 and 1994. The series centers on folks who live and work on Queensland's Gold Coast and was shot primarily on location, providing images of crashing waves, golden beaches, and scantily-clad young women. Paradise Beach was meant to be not only a competitor to Australian soaps Neighbours and Home and Away, but also the first Australian soap to achieve mainstream success in America.
