The Japanese television drama Nagareboshi is an adaptation of Motoko Usuda's Kurage Marriage, which won the Young Scenario Prize. From October 18 to December20,2010, Fuji TV aired the series during the Getsuku time slot. The drama's slogan was "Itsuwari no Ai Kara, Shinjitsu no Ai e". The series features Yutaka Takenouchi in his first leading role in a Getsuku drama in nine years, since Dekichatta Kekkon, and Aya Ueto in her second supporting role in a Getsuku drama and first since Konkatsu! The folk rock duo Kobukuro performs the theme song "Rysei" for the show. The series debut, which was extended by 15 minutes, received a 13.6% audience rating.
