Shooting Stars is a British TV comedy panel game that first aired on BBC Two as a pilot in1993, then as 3 full series from 1995 to1997, then on BBC Choice for 2 series from January to December2002, before going back to BBC Two for another 3 series from 2008 until it was canceled in 2011. It was created and is hosted by the comedy duo Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer. It is in the style of a panel show, but the comedians' often slapstick, surreal, and anarchic humor doesn't rely on rules to work. Instead, the two seem to ignore existing rules or make up new ones when the mood strikes.
