When their real father goes to prison, three brothers employ a charismatic, wayward schemer to stand in for him. What starts out as a commercial partnership turns into something far more complex and compelling: a family unlike any we've ever seen. At the local sports goods store, the three brothers find their hired father, Ron Snuffkin (Tyler Labine). As the patriarch of the Gunderson family, Ron will be compelled to call on a diverse set of skills and a broad repertoire of pranks. Gary Gunderson,11, is a bright and street-savvy leader who is every bit the con man his father is; and Brandon Gunderson,13, is a gentle free spirit who simply goes along for the ride. Robby Gunderson,8, is a loose cannon who does not respond well to authority; Gary Gunderson,11, is a bright and street-savvy leader who is every bit the con man his father is; and Maggie Morales (Natalie Martinez), Robby's second-grade teacher and Ron's love interest, may be the sole constant in the lives of this oddball quartet. While Sons of Tucson is set in a single-parent household, nothing in the Gunderson household is as it seems. Ron and the guys are playing chess, and neither side can afford to give up too much power or independence.
